Cinnamon Coffee Cake is very simple to make and very tasty. It would serve as a great dessert, paired with some coffee maybe? First off, you’re going to want to preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Next, you’re going to need to gather all of your ingredients and don’t worry, it’s not too much!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
  • 3 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 4 tbsp. of melted butter
  • 1 egg

After gathering your ingredients, mix all of them into a bowl. Make sure you leave out the sugar, as well as the sugar. Once the initial ingredients are mixed up well, you can place them into a greased up baking pan. The reasoning as to why you want to leave out the cinnamon and sugar is because they’re the topping. Mix both of them up, making cinnamon sugar and sprinkle them on top of everything else. You’re going to want to bake the dessert for about 15-20 minutes and keep an eye as you’re doing so. One it’s a good golden brown, you can remove it from your oven and wait for it to cool a little. Serve and enjoy!

Caramel Apple Coffee Cake is a delicious dessert treat for any time to be shared with anyone. It’s great for when you have company over! This particular dessert is a little more time consuming than your typical coffee cakes because of all the extra ingredients that have to go into it, but it’s most definitely worth it. Here’s a list of things that you will need:

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 3 cups of Granny Smith Apples (peeled)
  • 1/2 cup of soft butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • Caramel Sauce and Streusel Topping

After gathering all of the ingredients, you’re going to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and then melt your 2 tablespoons of butter. You’re then going to add in the apples and get them sauted enough until the apples are a little soft. Once they reach the softened level, you have to let them cool. This does take some time, but it’s okay because during the cooling process, you can get started on the main part. Set aside your caramel sauce as well as the streusel topping. Next step is to get to the softened butter and beat that up, adding your eggs as well as sugar until you feel that it’s well mixed together. After that, you need to combine the salt, baking powder, and flour. Add these into your butter and eggs mix, and add your milk to this as well. When beating this, make sure that it’s on a low speed. At the end of this process, add in the vanilla. You’re going to pour this batter into a pan and then place the softened apples on the top. Here is when you’ll need the caramel and streusel sauce. You can pour the caramel sauce across the desert, but make sure you save half a cup for later. Then you can sprinkle the streusel as well before putting it in the oven. You’re going to want this to cook for a good 25-30 minutes. You’ll know when it starts to brown a little, and then you’re going to want it to cool. You’re also going to want to take the rest of the caramel sauce and pour the rest of that onto the dessert. After letting it cool off completely, enjoy!

In a bowl, mix together your egg, vegetable oil, and sugar; adding in the pre-mixture of flour as well as your milk. Add in your blueberries after this and then pour everything into a greased pan. Next is all about the topping. So in a separate bowl you’re going to want to add in the extra flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, and cinnamon. With the butter that you have, cut them into pieces and then mix them into your topping bowl until they look like cinnamon crumbs. Next step is to bake your treat!
