Want to be able to enjoy getting a latte without having to run to the coffee shop to get it? Make it at home! Even if you do not think you will use a machine every single day, it will still be worth it and save you money in the long scheme of things. You can make a latte at home even without big, fancy, super expensive machines! Either way you will be able to make yourself a delicious latte to enjoy in the comfort of your own home (maybe even your pjs).

It would be the greatest feeling not having to get out cash or your card every time you want to enjoy a delicious latte! Those coffee shop prices add up and often times are very expensive. The cost of making one at home would definitely be much less expensive than your local coffee shop.

If you have an espresso machine in the comfort of your own home, you won’t have to have anyone else to make it for you and you’ll have it just the way you like it. I know buying the machine in the first place may seem a little much, but think about how much you spend on coffee in just one day; it starts to add up. So making one purchase for an espresso machine will be worth all the lattes you will get to make at home! No more worrying about what time your local cafe closes, you can make yourself a latte at any time of day.

If you are too worried about the expense of having a espresso machines and keeping it clean, you can even make your latte without one. I can’t promise that it will taste the same, but whatever works for you.

Making Your Latte At Home

To make a latte at home, you are going to need a few things like a milk steamer or pitcher, thermometer, espresso machine/coffee brewer and all the gadgets that are included.

First thing: you need to steam your milk.

Heat up 1 cup of milk in a saucepan. Make sure you are steaming the milk, not boiling it.

To avoid this, right before it starts to boil, you want to take the milk off of the heat and move to a flat, cool surface.

Next take your milk and whisk it, you want the milk to thicken and start to froth.

Then you want to brew your coffee. When your coffee is finished brewing you then want to make your latte by mixing 3 ounces of espresso with 7 ounces of milk.
